Tuesday 22nd September

Our bi-monthly general meeting today so we had a pretty good roll up. We made $1840 for the Cancer Council at our Daffodil Day and Open Day. That is a great effort ladies.

The raffle quilt for next year has been decided with a pattern called Winter Moons by Mieke Duyck out of Quilt Mania magazine being chosen. The challenge for next year’s exhibition has been set as an Amish style block challenge.

We also settled on The Clarence Hotel (Bottom Pub) as our venue for the Christmas Party on December 1st. An organising group has been nominated. Don’t forget your Christmas Challenge bag.

The Boro Workshop with Jane McDonald on 17th November will be as follows:

9am – Pop Up Shop and Morning Tea

10am – Workshop starts

2pm – Workshop finishes

A lunch to share needs to be brought.

Helen G. had some lovely items to show and share – a beautiful quilt top, a pretty little girl’s dress and some tiny shorts.

Next week is UFO Tuesday.
