Tuesday 6th October

Sorry a bit late with this post. We were down on numbers but up in spirit this week. It was Wilga’s monthly workshop and she gave us a grab bag of tips and techniques. How to use your rolled hem foot, how to do three rows of piping and how to sew piping around a corner. Then she demonstrated the Curve Master Foot, for sewing curves of course, and lastly we saw some Italian trapunto. After all that we enjoyed our usual patch and chat. The girls are doing all sorts of interesting projects with lots of English Paper Piecing still going on. Helen G. had a lovely Japanese taupe quilt to show which featured circles and lots of curved piecing. Lovely to have Marie back with us after a long trip away. This Saturday four of us are off to Lismore to buy fabric for our next raffle quilt.
