Tuesday 15th February

Today was so hot we could hardly set a stitch. We did however get on with selecting fabric for our Amish Star Block Challenge. Wilga as you can see in the photo below is the guru and we will take heed of her advice. So hop to it girls and join in the fun!!!!

Most of the raffle quilt blocks came back and another workshop will be held next week to hopefully get it together. The muted colours and touch of red are very trendy.

Lots of ladies busy with their EPP for the Row by Row quilt. The different colour ways and fussy cutting make for interesting viewing. Liz and Mary were busy again with the art quilt for an exhibition in Grafton. This work is looking very, should I say, “arty”.

Coming up soon is a mini workshop to make fabric postcards. Please sign on next week for a bit of machine sewing fun.

After twelve most of us escaped home before we melted.

Our beautiful Wilga giving advice about Amish Star blocks.

The art quilt is taking “shape’.

The colours for the art quilt are very vibrant.

This is Linda’s terrific work in progress kids quilt.

Part of Marcia’s very bright table runner. We just love that pink!

Love Marcia’s table runner. I wish I was melting – We are freezing here in Wisconsin at 20 degrees.
