Tuesday 26th April

The girls were busy today making a colourful quilt for a football team to raffle.

It was also Diane and Mary’s birthday month so we had two cakes to cut and very yummy they were.

Colleen, Elizabeth and Penne have created a triptych titled “Quarries of the Lower Clarence”. The three panels are of different quarries and are created with differing techniques. This artwork will be on display at the Grafton Gallery during May as part of an LCACA Exhibition.

Nancy had a folder of her lovely Lucy Boston blocks which come from Shiralee Stitches as a kit. The kits include fabric and a photo to show the fussy cutting. A very neat way to get into Lucy Boston blocks.
