Tuesday 24th

Today we had our regular bi-monthly general meeting. There was a lot to discuss with the huge festival of art coming up soon. It was a good meeting with lots of members contributing. There was also information about the Zone Day to be held in September. See Zone page for details. There was also quite a lot of discussion re our library.

Mary and Wilga supplied us with delicious slices for morning tea while Chris supervised the Trading Table which made a nice profit.

Alison had a pile of knitted bootees which she sells at Ferry Park and Marcia tells me her Teddy Quilt from last week has already been sold. Janet showed us her fleecy dressing gown made for her grand daughter Charlie. I think she will be very cosy this winter if it ever comes. We are still in our summer clothes. Amazing!!!

Cute bootees knitted by Alison.

This is the library side of our cupboard. All books about patchwork and quilting of course.
