Tuesday 21st June

Just a plain old stitching day today and they are so relaxing. The weather has become a bit colder and a wind is blowing so out come the knitting needles for a break from patching.

Our massive Art, Craft and Quilt Festival is fast approaching and some members are finishing up projects for display. Our large quilt category has a prize of $500 so it is well worth us thinking about.

We wish Marcia Rutledge and her husband Warrick all the best as he faces an illness challenge. Our Helen is on the mend again and busy making table runners. We also wish Heather a speedy recovery after her recent cold.

I have gone around the hall today just snapping pics of member’s work. It is always so varied which is the great thing about patchwork – there is no limit to imagination.

Next week we need to have our entry forms ready for the Festival.
