Tuesday 19th July

Today we had a special visitor by the name of Lee Cleland. Lee taught many of us quilting and also wrote some valuable books on the subject. Now Lee’s passion is photography so she is letting go of her stash. She bought bolts and bolts down for us at only $5metre. It was mayhem for a while but eventually those who wanted fabric got some great metres.

In her honour the committee provided a very nice lunch.

Others with Show and Tell were Robyn Gilvear with a fabulous quilt made from pink jumpers. The quilt was even reversible.

Helen Granleese with a beautiful quilt for her father which reflected the colours of the Clarence River in flood.

And Bev had a super kiddy quilt in great bright colours.

Next week is our bi-monthly meeting.
