Tuesday 2nd August

Weather is a funny thing. Only a few months ago we were melting and today we were freezing!!! Well not literally but the hall was chily.

A special day today when Wilga gave us one of her mini workshops. It is wonderful to see a real patchworker on the job. Today Wilga was demonstrating some templates that give you a star border. See workshops page for some details of the process.

The templates were kindly donated to our resource cupboard by Janet Hall. We have such fun with Wilga as she works away. By the by she has promised us her recipe for spray starch.

We also received our monthly newsletter which shows us how busy we will be over the next two months. So get those machine running as we need items for our trading table at Daffodil Day.

Some show and tell from Janet and Bev as well as a lot of chatter re our Row by Row quilts.
