Today was the first General Meeting day after our AGM last week. There were spirited discussions about many and varied fund raising ideas. The suggestion of biannual visits from other quilting and patchwork groups was accepted enthusiastically. A great many ideas were forthcoming.
The Christmas challenge has been set and this year it’s a choice between two challenges. Eager members may even like to attempt both. Choice #1 is to create a piece of wearable fabric jewellery. Choice #2 is to construct a 3D Christmas tree from any type of material – wood, cardboard, fabric etcetera. Happy creating!
Next Tuesday 4th April, Wilga is giving a “Back to Basics” workshop. Anyone is welcome to attend — Wilga’s workshops are always fun and informative.
