Tuesday 16th May

A lovely relaxing day of stitching enjoyed by our members.

Robyn Gilvear brought in her beautiful ‘broderie perse’ quilt for show and tell. This quilt is for a couple who are her friends. We are sure they will love this terrific quilt. To make things even more amazing, Robyn has had a fall recently and she broke her wrist. Heal quickly Robyn so you can make some more amazing and unique quilts.

Wilga and friends sorted out our Amish challenge blocks from last year. They are making a quilt to raffle on Daffodil Day. Wilga is the maker so it will look great.

A few ladies had their finished felt embroidery pieces and Mary was delighted to see how her workshop has inspired us.

We are also collecting ‘Heart Blocks’ for friendship. I took photos of a few to show off the lovely work of our members.

A big cheerio to Penne who is one of our bloggers. She had a shoulder replacement yesterday and we can’t wait to see her back stitching with us.

Next week is a General Meeting.

Happy stitching Elizabeth
