A really good turn out today for our May Bi-Monthly Meeting. Vice president Claudette took the chair as Linda is away enjoying herself in Canada. Everything is running smoothly with our raffle quilt selling well.
We were very pleased to see Marie back with us after the sad loss of her husband. She had some telling advice about things we need to arrange as we grow older that will make it easier for the one left behind.
Alison and friend were working hard on our new banner design which will be printed soon. It will feature our Clarence River scene which we have at the top of our newsletters and on our old banner which we all love.
Helen Mac. had a quilt for Show and Tell. She is a very busy quilter and her grand kids look up the blog to see what ‘Nanna’ is doing. Great quilt Helen.
Our other blogger Penne has had a shoulder replacement and we have given her a Zygocactus to cheer her up. Penne is doing very well by the way.
We all hope our two Robyn’s are feeling better soon.
Next week is the fifth Tuesday for May and that means – “Bring along a UFO to finish!!”
