Tuesday 27th June

Today we had visitors from Bangalow and Lawrence for our Slice and Soup Day. That means we enjoyed delicious slices for morning tea and yummy soups with crusty bread for lunch.

Meanwhile we had a quiz and some quilty games but best of all was the Show and Tell. It is lovely to see what other quilting groups are doing and to share some of our work as well. The Bangalow girls had just completed a very tricky challenge called “Another Point of View”. A very nice day was had by all.

Next week we will be hanging quilts for the LCACA Arts, Crafts and Quilts Festival at the Maclean Showground. This annual event is a special time for us and the quilt show part is always very beautiful. The Festival runs from Friday 7th until Sunday 9th.
