Our numbers were down today, winter illness and holidays have taken their toll on our attendance, however those who came had an enjoyable morning stitching, chatting and a warmer day.
We said goodbye to a member who has been with us for a number of years, Heather Eggins. Heather and husband John are about to relocate to Gloucester in the Manning-Taree area, this move will bring them closer to family, it is sad when our group loses a much younger member. Our president Linda presented her with a bundle of handmade hearts to remember us by. Enjoy your time in Gloucester Heather.
Nancy brought in some lovely pieces of fabric for show and tell, they are hand dyed with lino cut designs printed on them, these squares were done by Dijanne Cevaal and purchased at the Sydney Quilt Show.
