This year has gone by very quickly, here we are only 20 days from Christmas. Next week is our Christmas party and the following week we have our last meeting for 2023. It was a fairly busy year and next year will be busier with, Airing of the Quilts at Easter and the quilt exhibition in July. All the preparation for each of these events takes months of planning. As the group has been going for 34 years I am sure they are very practiced and everything will go smoothly.
Show and Tell this week is very light on, due to the Christmas Challenge I can bet, but we still have a couple of items to share.

As you all know not a week goes by where we don’t have something from Margaret. This week she has completed the Toiletries pouches for the Foodbank. She also made about 4 bags for children with a small present in each. So the male recipients don’t miss out some of those toiletry pouches are male orientated.
Fabulous job Margaret. You are a gem.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who donated to the Foodbank appeal for goods. The response was wonderful and I am sure Amanda from the Foodbank is appreciative of your efforts, as well as the families receiving your wonderful donations.

December 2023 – Christmas Party at the Church Hall. 12th December 2023. Bring along a fat quarter wrapped, for the Christmas gift swap. The help out lists are circulating don’t forget to be part of the team.
Final meeting for 2023 will be 19th December 2023.
Christmas Challenge for 2023. Can you please place in a paper bag on the Challenge table at the Christmas Party.
Gail has been chosen for the next Friendship quilt. She has given you free reign to choose any colours or theme you want as long as it reflects ‘ÝOU’. 10-1/2″ square block
Group start date for 2024 – After the Christmas break we will return on 16th January 2024.
